The family of US Army Korean War Veteran, PV2 Eugene Butala has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation at his funeral service, and Internment Thursday, April 4th at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Eugene was a member of American Legion Post 173 in Tamaqua, who served in the Korean War before returning to the States where he was recruited to play football for Army. His love of sports carried through his lifetime where he coached not only football but baseball and basketball as well. Eugene G. Butala is a true patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.

Stage at the parking lot opposite the rear of the PA Memorial, (turn left at the US Flag Circle). DO NOT PROCEED TO COMMITTAL SITE WITHOUT PERMISSION.
NOTE: Concealed carry permits are NOT recognized on military installations and federal reservations. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery is a federal reservation. Do not bring weapons or hazardous materials to this mission.
