The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Edward “Ed” Smorey USMC,to stand in silent honor then escort and lead a procession to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies for the Interment with Military Honors.

Ed is a Veteran of the Vietnam War and served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps from September 1966-September 1968. For his Service, Ed received the the Good Conduct Medal Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device and the Vietnam Service Medal w/1 star.

Ed served our country with honor, now its our turn to stand in honor for him.

Members can attend all of a Mission or any part of the Mission. PGR sets no time for a member to stand a Mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.

Remember that the National Cemetery is a Federal Reservation and NO WEAPONS are permitted.

Please watch the weather, Dress accordingly & Bring your 3 x 5 handheld American flags.
