The Patriot Guard Riders of Pennsylvania have been asked to stand in honor of and escort Lt Col Venice Carl Gacono on Friday November 8th. V Carl Gacono served in the United States Army. Followed by an extensive career in the Army National Guard and finally retiring from the U.S. Army Reserve. He was the recipient of the Joint Defense Meritorious Service Medal, The Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Meritorious Service Medal. With an hour Glass device. V. Carl Gacono was a well-known and admired man. He was known for his love of the Military and his dedication to community. He and his beloved wife Mary are credited with starting the Annville Memorial Day parade which has grown into one of the biggest and best Pennsylvania has to offer. We will stand to Honor Lt. Col. Gacono at his visitation and service at United Church of Christ in Annville. Following his service, we will escort him to his final rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
