The family of Army Retired Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Leonard McGinness Deavers has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation at his funeral service, escort, and interment Saturday, August 15. Leonard’s military career spanned World War 2, Korea and Vietnam and culminated with him holding the 2nd highest enlisted rank in the Army. Following funeral services in Stewartstown, Leonard will be escorted to Susquehanna Memorial Gardens for interment. Leonard Deavers is a patriot who served his country with honor. Now it’s our turn to stand for him.
