Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran
The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Command Sergeant Major Leonard James Pamula U.S. Army to stand in silent honor for his service then escort for his Interment.
CSM Leonard Pamula enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served a tour in Heidelberg, Germany. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and with the Civil Service for 34 years, achieving the rank of Sergeant Major before retiring in 2009. CSM Pamula began his Reserve military career at the 382nd MASH, Erie and ended at the 99th RSC,Coraopolis, including a tour of duty in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2004-2005 where he served as Command Sergeant Major, 463rd Engineer Combat Battalion, Wheeling West Virginia.
Command Sergeant Major Leonard Pamula received the Meritorious Service Medal(2nd Award),Army Commendation Medal(3rd Award),Army Achievement Medal(2nd Award),Good Conduct Medal,Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal(7th Award),National Defense Service Medal(3rd Award),Iraq Campaign Medal,Global War On Terrorism Service Medal and the Armed Forces Reserve Medal w/M Device.
CSM Leonard Pamula was highly respected by all who served with him throughout his distinguished career, He served our country with honor, now it is our turn to stand in honor for him.
Members can attend all of a Mission or any part of the Mission. PGR sets no time for a member to stand a Mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.
