The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to honor CPL Sylvester B. Lilley, at his remembrance ceremony and committal, for his service to our country.
Sylvester proudly served his country during the Korean war in the Heavy Mortar 17th Infantry. Where he and his unit were awarded a citation for exceptional accuracy, and thorough planning firing 3800 rounds in preparation for the success of an infantry assault on hills 682 and 851. He received the Korean War Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, as well as the Army Combat Infantry Badge
A Viewing will be held at Shells Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grantville Pa. from 1000Hrs. to 1100Hrs. A service of Christian Burial will be held at 1100 Hrs. Followed by an escort to his internment in Grantville Cemetery
Corporal Sylvester B. Lilley is a true American Patriot that has served this nation with honor. Now it’s our turn to honor him
