The staff of Indiantown Gap National Cemetery has informed the Patriot Guard Riders that Army Veteran Charles H. Long has passed with no known family. We have been asked to stand to honor his service to our nation as he is interred with full military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Monday, January 15th. Charles served in the Army between 1948 and 1952. He is a Purple Heart Medal recipient for injuries sustained during the Korean Conflict. We will be there to ensure that Charles gets the honor he deserves as he goes to his final rest. Charles Long is a patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.
