In Memory Of MSgt Thomas D Maholic US Army KIA

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of MSgt Thomas D Maholic US Army to Stand for a Memorial Bridge Dedication in Honor & Remembrance of their American Hero.
Master Sergeant Thomas D Maholic was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
On 24 June 2006 Kandahar province near Ghecko, Afganistan, MSgt Maholic and his Patrol Unit came into contact with enemy forces using small arms fire during a cordon and search mission.
Master Sergeant Maholocs’ heroic actions defeated a Taliban attack, saved the lives of his comrades and prevented the distraction of his team. His actions are in keeping with the highest traditions of military heroism and reflect distinct credit upon himself, the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force-Afganistan, Special Operations Command Central, and the United States Army.
Awards received, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Field Medical Badge, Service Operation Dive Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, and Special Forces Tab. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart and Combat Infantry Badge.
