Annual Veterans Day Service & Escort
The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited To Escort then Stand In Honor for all those who have Served on Veterans Day at the National Cemetery Of the Alleghenies.
It is an extreme Honor for the first time to Escort our local Veterans to the Cemetery for the Ceremony.
Veterans Day originated as “Armistice Day” Nov. 11, 1919 to commemorate the end of World War I (major hostilities formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918). The day became an annual observance in 1926 and Nov. 11 became a national holiday in 1938.
This is an Open Invite, All are Welcome including children. For those who are unable to Escort, you can meet us at POW Circle, located in the Cemetery. When you arrive, tell Security you are with PGRPA so they can direct you to where we will be parking, POW Circle.

Members can attend all of a Mission or any part of the Mission, PGR sets no time for a Member to Stand and or Escort for a Mission. We Thank You for whatever time you give us, and the families of our Heroes appreciate your time.
Remember that the National Cemetery is a Federal Reservation & NO WEAPONS are permitted!
