The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of William “Bill” Sharkey US Navy to Stand In Silent Honor for their True American Hero.
William “Bill” Sharkey served as a Second Class Radioman on the USS War Hawk, USS Catoctin, USS H. T. Allen, USS Calvert and the USS Mount Olympus.
Medals received, World War II Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, Navy Occupation Service Medal (W/Clasp),China Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy/Marcor Overseas Service Ribbon, Joint Service Medals, Philippine Defense/Liberation/Independence Ribbon, Philippine /Republic Of Korea/Vietnam Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal W/Five Bronze Stars.
William “Bill” Sharkey served our country with Honor and now its our turn to Stand & Honor him.
Members can attend all of a Mission or any part of the Mission. PGR sets no time for a member to Stand a Mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us, and the families of our Heroes appreciate your time.
