 Jesse​ M ​Verga served one tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan in the United States Marine Corps. During Jesse’s third tour he served as squad leader and was awarded a Medal for Valor. He continued to serve the United States Marine Corps through two years of reserve duty.

Jesse Verga received the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Certificate Of Commendation (2nd Awd) (Individual Awd), Combat Action Ribbon, Afghanistan; Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Mast, National Defense Service Medal, Nato​ Medal-ISAF Afghanistan, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal “V” and the Navy Unit Commendation.
