The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the community of Meadville by Standing a Flag Line to Honor Chuck Rudler WWII POW.
Rudler, 92, of Linesville went off to war at the age of 19. The film tells of his landing on the beaches at Normandy, France, his capture by the German Army and his experience under forced labor as a POW. It took years of encouragement from a friend to bring “New Boots” to the big screen. The carpet will be rolled out on 12 Dec 16 for the premiere “New Boots in Honor of American Hero, Chuck Rudler WWII POW.
