MISSION COMPLETE: PVT J. WILLIAMS 20TH MAINE

We have just completed a historical mission. On Friday the Patriot Guard Riders Pennsylvania provided a dignified transfer of Pvt. Jewett Williams, Civil War Veteran to New Jersey PGR for his continued journey home. He will probably be the last Civil War Veteran to be buried with full Military Honors. His service is scheduled for September 17, 2016.
I wish to take this time to thank each and every person who participated in the 2 PA missions. A special shout out to Mr. Jim Smith, Union Drummer, who was there in Ohio to help us and then in Hancock MD to pass off to MD. Jim then continued his journey to assist MD with their transfer to VA. Our journey was amazing on Friday, after a ceremony in Gettysburg, we traveled to NJ.
