The family of Army World War 2 Veteran Walter Shanabrough has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation at his interment ceremony June 18, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Walter was a paratrooper in the 517 Glider Infantry during the Normandy invasion and was awarded three Bronze Stars during his service in World War 2. Following a funeral service for his wife, Margaret, in Camp Hill, the cremains of Walter and Margaret will be escorted to Indiantown Gap National Cemetery for his inurnment with full honors. Walter Shanabrough is a patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.

NOTE: Concealed carry permits are NOT recognized on military installations and federal reservations. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery is a federal reservation. Do not bring weapons or hazardous materials to this mission.
