About the Mission:United States Army Private First-Class James Charles Bowman was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. US Army PFC Bowman was Killed In Action while fighting the enemy at the Chosin Reservoir in North Korea on November 28,1950. PFC Bowman's remains were accounted for on September 25, 2024. He was the son of Melvin D. Bowman and Mamie Thomas Bowman. Bowman was born November 6, 1932 in Jordan, West Virginia.
