About the Mission:

On November 12, 2023, the following caption was in a local newspaper in Washington, Pennsylvania Observer-Reporter "Local US Army Veteran Working to Give Military Burial to Unclaimed Remains of Veterans" Jim Shaw, a Veteran himself, reached out to Miles Glotfelty to offer help to rectify this overlooked matter. The Patriot Guard Riders will escort the cremated remains of three unclaimed Veterans from Thompson - Marodi Funeral Home in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania for a 2:00 PM Interment.

Please Do not Proceed to the Pavilions. Remain at the Welcome Center until further notice.

Please pay strict attention to the parking directions at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. 

VA regulations 38 CFR 1.218 prohibits the carrying of firearms (either openly or concealed), explosives or other dangerous or deadly weapons while on VA property, except for official purposes, such as military funeral honors.
