James “Jim” Michael Norton Sr.

The Patriot Guard Riders of Pennsylvania have been invited by the family of James “Jim” Michael Norton Sr, a U.S. Army veteran and First Responder to stand in silent honor for his visitation and service then escort to the cemetery for the interment.
James enlisted in the U.S.Army March of 1955 and honorably discharged March 1957 with the rank of Specialist Third Class.
Decorations include the Good Conduct Medal.
Following time served, James became a First Responder, volunteering his time to save countless lives risking his own for 50 years as a Firefighter with Franklin Township Fire Department, a member of Western Pennsylvania Firemen’s Association and spent 30 years with Franklin Township with last position as Supervisor.
James served our country and his community with honor, it’s now our turn to stand in honor for him.
