Update: Invited back For interment
After receiving the invite for interment and updating our post, I researched James. This needs to be shared.  Not only did James serve in the U.S. Air Force, James was also a First Responder,
a Volunteer Fireman with the Lawrence Park Fire Department, a total of 16 years of community service.

James William Mason

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of James William Mason, a U.S. Air Force veteran, to stand in silent honor for his service.

James entered the U.S. Air Force; from August of 1950 then transferred to the U.S. Air Force Reserves February of 1953 until honorably discharged, with the rank Airman First Class August of 1954.

Decorations include the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

James served our country with honor, it’s now our turn to stand in honor for him.
