1st VHV National PTSD Awareness Day Veterans Wellness Festival & Memorial Ride
Featuring Operation Vet Now Veterans Village

Inline with National PTSD Awareness month, Vets Helping Vets of Homestead teamed with Operation Vet Now Veterans Village to kick off their 1st VHV National PTSD Awareness Day Veterans Wellness Festival & Memorial Ride & Memorials and has invited The Patriot Guard Riders, stand in silent honor for our Gold Star Families Heroes at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies upon arrival of all who are in the Memorial Ride.
A Memorial Ride will be a round trip from the Waterfront to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The Memorial Ceremony will begin once all riders (which will include our Gold Star Families) dismount… all are invited to join us in our Flag Line.
Following the Memorial at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, all will depart and head back to the Waterfront featuring Vets Helping Vets, Operation Vet Now Veterans Village, full of support organizations,food,beverages and entertainment.

Members can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission. PGR sets no time for a member to escort and or stand a mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.
Remember that the National Cemetery is a Federal Reservation and NO WEAPONS are permitted. Also, masks are no longer required for those fully vaccinated. If not fully vaccinated you are required to wear a mask while social distancing, during the service, interment and if indoors.
Before heading out please watch the weather, dress accordingly and bring your 3 X 5 hand held American flags.
