Vietnam Era Veteran

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Robert Peter Hoke, U.S. Navy and First Responder, to stand in silent honor for his service then escort for the interment.
Robert entered the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era from December of 1965, with last duty assignment on the U.S.S. Lester then transferred to the U.S. Navy Reserves until honorably discharged with the rank of Store Keeper December of 1968. For his service, Robert received the National Defense Service Medal.
Following time served, Robert became a First Responder for Meadville Fire Department, with 24 years of service and attained the rank of Chief. Robert was also a member and Past President of Firefighters Local #515, serving on the negotiating team for many years before retiring in 1997.
Robert served our country and community with honor, it’s now our turn to honor him.

This is a two day mission, members can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission. PGR sets no time for a member to escort and or stand a mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.
Please be aware & alert of your surroundings. Also, before heading out please watch the weather, dress accordingly, bring your 3 X 5 handheld American flags and grab your masks, they need to be worn while social distancing.
