The Patriot Guard Riders of Pennsylvania have been invited by the family of Merrill J. “Murry” Hamilton, U.S. Army, to stand in silent honor for his service.
Merrill entered the U.S. Army October of 1944 during WWII and was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal August of 1946, receiving the Good Conduct Medal, Army Occupation Medal (Germany),American Theater Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon, WWII Victory Ribbon and the Combat Infantry Badge.
He was a life member of the American Legion Post #494 Girard and over 40 years as a life member of the Edinboro-McKean VFW Post #740.
Merrill served our country and community with honor, it’s now our turn to stand in honor for him.
