The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to honor Pvt. George Thomas Smeltzer, at his remembrance ceremony and committal for his service to our country.
George served in the U.S. Army In 1959. He was a Master Mason with the Free and Accepted Masonic Lodge, #649 in Red Lion, receiving his 25-year pin. He held life memberships with several organizations in Red Lion, the Red Lion American Legion Post #543, Red Lion Fire Company, and the Viking Athletic Club.
A viewing will be held at Bethany United Methodist Church from 1000Hrs. to 1100Hrs. Service to commence at 1100Hrs. Escort to Mt. Rose Cemetery following service.
Pvt. George Thomas Smeltzer is a true American Patriot that has served this nation with honor. Now it’s our turn to honor him
