The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Raymond “Ray” J Anderson Volunteer Fire Fighter to stand in silent honor then escort to the cemetery for the interment.
Ray risked his own life by saving lives and property as a Volunteer Fire Fighter for Creekside Volunteer Fire Company Station #260. His love was being a Volunteer Firefighter. Ray was a member of the Fire Company for 36 years for which he has many certificates and awards for his years of service and for all the schooling and class he participated in. Ray gathered many accomplishments doing a job he loved. Always ready to service with any call, whether it be a fire, accident, serving at dinners and the fair, and always ready for the call of “Bingo”. He spent his last years as a Traffic Director for the Fire Company.
Ray served with honor, now its our turn to stand in honor for him.
