The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of James Daniel Chantz, a U.S. Army veteran to escort then stand in silent honor for his service.

James enlisted in the U.S. Army, having served 18 months with the Airborne Infantry at Fort Benning and Fort Polk.

Prior to enlisting, James supported his community as a Boy scout, which includes playing Taps for our American Heroes.

James mentioned several times to his family that he was most proud of himself, during time served in the U.S. Army.

James served his community and our country with honor, now it's our turn to stand in honor for him.

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the Western Pennsylvania Gold Star Family to stand in silent honor at the Opening Memorial Ceremony for the Western Pennsylvania Gold Star, the final game of 2021.

Next up at Bethel Park High School,the Bethel Park Black Hawks VS West Allegheny Indians.

During the Football game, the players will be representing 10-15 Fallen Heroes who were killed in the line of duty and those Heroes names will be called for every play and /or touchdown made.

Inviting all to honor then enjoy an evening under the Friday Night Lights for some High School football with our Gold Star Families, their friends and loved ones.

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited back by Honor Flight Pittsburgh to stand In honor for the Welcome Home, Mission #8 after their trip to Washington DC. Veterans honored are those who served during WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

Honor Flight Pittsburgh is a hub of the National Honor Flight Network. Due to their proximity to Washington, D.C, they are a flightless hub that travels by deluxe motor coach. Their mission is to bring veterans to Washington, D.C. on a one-day trip to view the memorials built in their honor at no cost and give them the recognition they so deserve for their service and sacrifices they made.

All are welcome including children to stand in honor and Welcome Home our American Heroes.

The Patriot Guard Riders of Pennsylvania have been invited by the family of Albert "Al" John Stegena , a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a Law Enforcement Officer to stand in silent honor then escort to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies for the interment.

Al enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1955 as an Airplane, and Jet Engine Mechanic and was honorably discharged in 1959, receiving the Good Conduct Medal.

Following time served in 1965, Al was hired by Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, beginning a 39-year career in a field in which he excelled and grew to love. Al's dedication led him to assignments on federal, state, and local task forces apprehending violent fugitives and dangerous criminals. Al's work with those different agencies forged many bonds and contacts with other Officers, Agents, and Deputies which served him well and assisted in his ability to be successful. Al spent the latter part of his career working in Drug Enforcement and his knowledge, drive, and determination was an inspiration to the younger Officers. Al was often the "Go To Guy" for those young Officers who needed advice and he enjoyed mentoring them. Al was highly respected by Supervisors, peers, Attorneys, Officers from other Law Enforcement Agencies and those in the court system.

Al served our country and his community with honor, it's now our turn to stand in honor for him.

Frank entered the U.S. Air Force January 1961 and became an Aircraft Mechanic until he was honorably discharged June of 1964 with the rank of Airman First Class.

The Patriot Guard Riders of Pennsylvania have been invited back by the family of Robert "Berto" Arent , a U.S. Navy veteran to stand in silent honor for his interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Robert enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1982 and was honorably discharged in 1988 with the rank of Corporal and received the Good Conduct Medal.

Robert served our country with honor, it's now our turn to stand in honor for him.

Decorations include the Vietnam Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care to be family and pallbearers, to stand in silent honor for an American Hero, a U.S. Navy veteran then escort and lead a procession to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies for the interment.

Our American Hero entered the U.S. Navy February of 1967 and honorably discharged December of 1968 with the rank of Electronics Technician (Communications) Seaman. He served our country with honor, now it's our turn to stand in honor for him.

Requesting 6 pallbearers to please to contact the RCIC if wanting to assist and to arrive at the Funeral Home by 1:45 PM.

The staff of Indiantown Gap National Cemetery has informed the Patriot Guard Riders that SP3 William F. Simmons has passed with no known family. We have been asked to stand to honor his service to our nation as he is interred with full military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Friday October 22nd, at 0900 Hrs.
We will be there to ensure that William gets the honor he deserves as he goes to his final rest. United States Army Veteran William F. Simmons is a true patriot who served our country with honor and now it is our turn to stand and honor him.

John proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1965, having served in theatre during Vietnam on the USS Okinawa and honorably discharged in 1968.

Following time served, John became a lifetime member of the VFW Post #191 in Canonsburg and he volunteered weekly at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies which includes many years of assisting with the Monthly Moment of Remembrance, standing in silent honor with the Patriot Guard Riders honoring all veterans each month that were interred without military honors.

John served our country and his community with honor, it's now our turn to stand in honor for him.

Carl proudly served the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era from June of 1963. Then transferred to the U.S. Army Reserves May of 1965, with last duty assignment 1st Battalion 54th Infantry as a Teletype Operator until he honorably discharged May of 1969, with the rank of Specialist 4.

Following time served, Carl became a life member of the American Legion Post #474 in Zelienople, serving as Sergeant at Arms and acting with the Legion Honor Guard and Carl also belonged to VFW Post #499 of Evans City.

Carl served our country and his community with honor, now it's our turn to stand in honor for him.
