The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in silent honor for veterans that have been interred the past month without military honors.

They stood for us, now it's our turn to stand for them.

Note that this is a recurring mission held on the first Wednesday of every month.

***Please stay at the Welcome Center until after the mission briefing, once the briefing is over, we will all go as a group for the interment.***

Remember that the National Cemetery is a Federal Reservation and NO WEAPONS are permitted. Also, masks are required and to be worn while social distancing during the service, interment and if indoors.

Before heading out please watch the weather, dress accordingly and bring your 3 X 5 hand held American flags.

The Family of John A. Norman. has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in honor of his service to his country at his viewing on Thursday February 4th, 2021. John was a combat veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He was a proud past member of the Marshalls Creek Fire Company of 15 years. .
A private viewing will be held on Thursday, February 4th from 1500 Hrs. to 1700 Hrs. At Lanterman and Allen Funeral Home Visitation will begin at 1500 Hrs.
The family asks that you please wear a mask
A service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Friday February 5th at 1100 Hrs. where due to current restrictions we will stand a flag line on the roadway and show honors as the family passes on the way to the committal; site
John A. Norman is a true American Patriot who has served this Country with Honor. Now it's our turn to stand and honor him.

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Edward Vincent McKernan III, U.S. Navy, to stand in silent honor for his service and interment.

Edward served his country from November of 1965 and was honorably discharged, with the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class November of 1970.

Decorations include, the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the Meritorious Unit Commendation.

Edward proudly served our country with honor, it's now our turn to stand in honor for him.

Ernest "Jim" Hanson

Korean War Veteran

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Ernest "Jim" Hanson, U.S. Air Force veteran, to stand in silent honor for his service then escort for the interment.

Ernest enlisted in the U.S. Air Force July of 1950, having served in theatre during the Korean War until honorably discharged, with the rank of Airman First Class January of 1954.

Decorations include, the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.

Following time served, Ernest became a member of the VFW and of the American Legion Post #108 in Bradford.

Ernest served our country and his community with honor, it's now our turn to stand in honor for him.
