The Korean Traveling Memorial Escort

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to escort the Korean Traveling Memorial to the Greene County fairgrounds.

The Korean Traveling Memorial is a replica of the Memorial displayed in Washington D.C. of statues of soldiers on patrol wearing rain parkas. The Memorial will be on display from May 31st to June 2nd, everybody is welcome and admission is free.

36,574 Americans were killed during the Korean War and 103,284 were wounded. The war in Korea is often called the “Forgotten War” and this Memorial gives an opportunity to remember those who served and died in this conflict.
